THE BIRTH

Created in 2012 the association arose from a meeting between a group of Oud players in Nantes wishing to share some Mediterranean oriental music. This meeting which dates before the legal creation of the association is materialized in two aspects.
The first one is the will to gather players of various oriental instruments in a city which is lacking structure and point of reference around these instruments.

The second aspect consists in the will to create a platform of knowledge sharing, which welcomes players of any levels to accompany them in their apprenticeships of these instruments.

GOALS OF THE ASSOCIATION

- To be a place of meeting, exchange, interaction and expression which leaves free appeal to everyone's creativity through the proposed workshops.
- To be opened to every person avid to discover or to deepen any oriental instrument.
- To propose cultural events such as concerts, interventions, sessions in appropriate cultural places.
- To organize short training course, workshops, with professional musicians.
